Trusting Your Resume in the Hands of PHR Staffing Solution: What You Can Expect

If you have been spending your hours researching and applying for positions, critiquing and editing your resume, and attending seemingly countless job fairs, it can be frustrating when you feel like handing over that piece of paper to a potential employer or HR staff is a dead end. While you don’t get to see what goes on beyond the resume, PHR Staffing Solutions actually has a multi-step process we go through with each individual applicant to ensure that you and employers get the very best match possible.

So, what happens after your resume is in our hands?

After receiving your resume, we will call to schedule an interview with you. The interview will be either by phone, or in person, and will cover basic information. This gives us a chance to ask about any needed clarifications regarding your resume and/or application, and will let us better assess your skills and qualifications. During your interview, you will be asked to fill out an in-depth application, where you will be asked if PHR is granted permission to do a background check on you. We are required by most of our employers to do a thorough background examination on each applicant, so taking care of it at the very beginning of the process is easiest. In addition to the background check, some (but not all) of our employers request drug testing be done on applicants. If this is required, we do not take care of this step within our own office, but will send you to a local lab to have the work done, and will have the results sent over to us.

Finally, if all of the above steps go smoothly, and all is clear, we move forward with matching you with the perfect position, and hopefully helping you get settled in a new career that is exactly what you need. Since you work with us for the first 90 days (in most cases) of your time on the new job, you can rest assured that you will have support and that the transition will be made as easy as possible for all involved.

If you are ready to get the process started for your own hire, apply for one of our current openings online, or contact us to give us your resume. We are continually adding new openings, and we know we have something that is the right fit for you.
