Job Description

Employer based in Lakeland, FL is seeking an experienced
Administrative Assistant looking for long term employment and to be a part of a
growing company. Must possess excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and
prioritize work. Must pay attention to detail and have excellent communication and problem-
solving skills. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Answer phones and greet visitors
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Collect and distribute mail
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports, and other
  • Write and edit documents from letters to instructional documents
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage customer and vendor accounts
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
  • Responding to emails in a professional manner
  • Maintain inventory on office supplies and place orders as needed
  • Dress in a professional manner


Education, Skills, and Experience Needed:

  • Must have prior experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Must have experience in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Work, and Outlook
  • Must be able to answer and manage multiple phone lines
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
